Maral Sarovar unit received "Achievement Award" for high score 89% in TGI audit
(16% higher than the global average of 73%) and 91% in WCA Audit
(13% higher than the global average of 78%).
( Achievement Award rules - overall score 85% or above & without Zero Tolerance or Major NCs)
during these audits on the month of January 2021.
Maral won “National Safety Award"
Maral Sarovar unit won National Safety Award for excellent performance in Industrial Safety in year 2017 based on Lowest Average Frequency Rate & Accident Free year. This award was received from Shri Santosh Kumar Gangwarji, Hon’ble Minister of State, Labour & Employment (Independent Charge) Government of India during the award ceremony organized on 17th September 2019 at Vigyan Bhawan New Delhi.
Maral won “National Safety Award"
Maral Sarovar unit won the National Safety Award for the excellent performance in 2016 under two different categories – Accident Free year and Minimum frequency rate of accident. The Award Competition Organized by The Labour Ministry of India and Award Given by Shri Shantosh Gangwar “State Minister - Lebour & Employment” during the award ceremony organized on 17th September 2018 at Vigyan Bhawan New Delhi.
Maral won CITI’s Birla Award
Maral Sarovar unit won the CITI's Birla Award for Excellence in Sustainability for year 2017-18 for using sustainable raw materials, energy source and production process and our target to achieve 100% sustainable production up to 2025 including procured 100% sustainable raw material including dyes and chemical, which are certified with ZDHC gateway and register in risk assessment tolls like In-Check.

Maral Sarovar unit won "INNOV” Sliver Award 2017 for Excellence HR Training in Textile Industry from EKDKN, New Delhi.
Maral won Exceed Award
Maral Sarovar unit won "Exceed Award - 2017" Trophy and certificate for best performance in Industrial Health and Safety. This award was received from Hon'ble Union Minister of State Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (Independent Charge), Government of India and Mr Rajiv Babbar, Founder NGO - "Ak Kam Desh ke Nam" in a function being organized on 17th March, 2017 in New Delhi.
Maral won NSCI Safety Award – “Suraksha Puraskar”
Maral Sarovar unit won the third level Safety Award "Suraksha Puraskar" Bronze Trophy and certificate in Group E under the manufacturing sector category for implementing Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Management Systems & procedures effectively and achieving very good performance in OSH. This award was received from the Hon'ble Minister for Labour & Employment, Govt. of India in a function being organized for 'Asia Pacific Occupational Safety and Health Organisation (APOSHO) Conference' on 6th April, 2016 in Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.

Maral Sarovar unit won "EHS Excellence Award with Platinum trophy for excellent performance in Health and Safety in 2006 from National Safety Council – MP Chapter.

Maral Sarovar unit won the CITI's Birla Award for Innovations by the Textile Mill for the year 2013-14. The award consists of a cheque for Rs. 2 Lakh and a citation. The award received by Shri Ashok Akade, Asstt. Vice President - QA & Compliance of Maral Overseas Ltd in 8th Asian Textile Conference & a glittering ceremony held at Westin Hotel, Mumbai on 23rd September 2014

Maral Sarovar unit won Health Shreshth Award 2013. The award received by Shri Suresh Maheshwari, President and Shri R.P. Gautam, Sr. Vice-President of Maral Overseas Ltd from the Principal Secretary (Labour), Madhya Pradesh Government in a glittering ceremony held at Bhopal on 09th September 2014.
Maral won FICCI Safety Award 2013
Maral Overseas Ltd, Maral Sarovar won the FICCI Safety Award for Excellence in Safety System in Manufacturing for the year 2013. The award received by Shri R P Gautam, Sr. Vice-President of Maral Overseas Ltd from Mr Kodikunnil Suresh, the Minister of State for Labour & Employment , Government of India in the presence of Mr. Ajay Shankar, Member Secretary, National Manufacturing Competitiveness Council (NMCC) and Mrs. Naina Lal Kidwai, President of FICCI in a glittering ceremony held at New Delhi on 10th December 2013. Maral is First Textile Industry, who has got the FICCI safety award in Manufacturing.
Maral Thermal Power plant won NECA 2011 Award
The Thermal power plant of Maral Overseas Ltd has won the National Energy Conservation Award for the outstanding work done by the plant in the field of Energy conservation during the year 2010-11.The award was in recognition to MOL has achieved much less plant heat rate and the auxiliary consumption than the design values. The National Energy Conservation award is the highest award in the field of energy conservation. This is a great honor to MOL since it has been in competition to country's very large plants in the category of Thermal power stations.
The award function was organized on 14th Dec,2011 at Vigyan Bhawan which was inaugurated by The Prime Minister of India, Sh. Manmohan Singh.
The award was received by Mr R.P.Gautam, Sr.Vice President Maral Overseas Ltd from Mr Shushil Kumar Shinde ,the cabinet minister of power and Mr K.C.Venugopal ,minister of state for power ,Govt. of India.
