LNJ Bhilwara Group is one of the country’s oldest and diverse business conglomerates, with its roots dating back to 1961. The journey of the Group started then in a small Bhilwara city in Rajasthan, when the legendary, Mr. L. N. Jhunjhunwala, established a textile mill there, laying the foundation of what would in due course become one of India’s leading textile companies – RSWM Limited. The sheer determination, conviction and vision of Mr. Jhunjhunwala has led that one textile mill to grow into 17 Companies with its 21 manufacturing units and 9 marketing offices spread across textile, power, graphite electrode, info technology sectors. The Group today stands proud as a multi-products and services conglomerate with an annual turnover in excess of INR 7,200 Crore ($ 1.2 Billion). The Group’s 8 Companies are IS/ISO Certified and 5 Companies are listed with stock exchanges in India.

The Group’s unfaltering success has been based on some core guiding principles - marriage of traditional values & foresight, self-reliance, adapting and changing with time. Hence, while expanding its initial business of yarn, it has also moved into manufacturing fabric, technical textiles, automotive fabric, knitted garments and denim. The Group exports its textile products to 80+ nations.

After having consolidated in the textile business, the Group ventured into Graphite Electrode. Today, the Group is a leading graphite electrode manufacturer and exporter globally, it has the largest single location manufacturing facility in the world with an annual production capacity of 80,000 MT located at Mandideep near Bhopal, (MP). It exports around 80% of its production to over 30+ countries in the world including USA, Germany, France, Spain, Japan, Korea etc.

The Group also extended the success of its first Hydro Electric Power plant by setting up country’s first merchant hydro power plant. Today, Group’s power business is growing with many projects in Hydro, Wind and Solar energy. The in-house power engineering consultancy firm also consolidates its position in the power business. Group recently forays to set up new lithium-ion facility in Pune to lower carbon emissions and provide green cutting-edge technology products and solutions from India to the world.

The Group’s IT enabled Service business is committed towards building long term relationship with its customers for IT consulting and implementation program at software development center.
